LEG Immobilien AG terminates Business Combination Agreement with Deutsche
Wohnen AG by mutual consent and continues to pursue its successful growth
strategy on a stand-alone basis

LEG Immobilien AG continues to pursue its successful growth strategy on a
stand-alone basis following the termination of the Business Combination
Agreement with Deutsche Wohnen AG by mutual consent. As a result of this
termination of the Business Combination Agreement, the planned voluntary
exchange offer by Deutsche Wohnen AG to the shareholders of LEG Immobilien
AG will be cancelled.
LEG Immobilien AG has strong fundamentals for its business. The Company
achieves sustained above-average rental growth in its very attractive
rental market in North Rhine-Westphalia. In the context of its proven
strategy, LEG Immobilien AG will in particular press ahead with the steady
expansion of its regionally focused portfolio.
